Can LifePO4 replace lead acid battery?
Lifepo4 is short of Lithium iron phosphate battery. It has big advantages vs lead acid battery.
Four aspects to compare as below:
1 ,Lifetime–Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) operate 3 times longer than lead-acid.
2, Cycle- lithium batteries Lifepo4 can reach >4000 times or more. Lead-acid batteries can only have 200-500times.
3, Safety–Most of lead acid battery don’t have BMS Protection. Lifepo4 batteries must have the BMS.
4, Weight–Higher power density, light on weight of Lifepo4. The same capacity, Lifepo4 battery is 3 times lighter than lead acid battery.
