- Check the total voltage of the battery pack. For example, 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V, etc.
- Check the material types of the battery pack, whether it is lithium iron phosphate or lithium manganate (ternary battery). Why should we determine the above two points first? As the battery material type different, the voltage of the single battery is different. Lithium iron phosphate fully charged monomer voltage is generally at 3.65V, while lithium manganate and ternary batteries fully charged monomer, voltage is generally 4.2V. That is to say, in the case of the same battery pack voltage, the number of battery pack strings of two different material systems is different. The parameters of the protection plate protection are also different. Is it possible to determine the above two points on the line? Of course not.
- Check the capacity of the battery pack. Estimate the discharge current according to the load condition. Determine the protection board discharge overload protection parameters.
- Check the battery pack charging current and protection board charging overcurrent protection parameters.
- Confirm whether the protection board charging and discharging, is the same port or separate port. The same port (the charging and discharging) are used a socket. Separate port is charging and discharging each socket, to choose a different shape socket to avoid confusion inserted wrong.
